Jamie has an extensive background in
professional baseball. He was a third round draft pick of the Pittsburgh
Pirates in 1992. He played nine minor league seasons, reaching as high
as AAA Las Vegas (Padres). Jamie has 17 seasons of professional
baseball, eight of them as a Minor League Manager/Director of Baseball
Operations and Associate Scout (Phillies). During those eight years he
saw 19 of his players sign with Major League organizations. He has
developed close working relationships with college coaches nationwide.
Jamie will spend the 2010 season as the Field Manager and Director of
Baseball Operations for the Kalamazoo Kings (Frontier League) in
Michigan.
